My version of a stegosaurus dinosaur. The main body was made from vanilla cake. The legs, head, and tail I shaped from rice krispies. All covered with buttercream. The spines were fondant.

Lady bug theme for a 2 year old. vanilla 9 x13 sheet with vanilla buttercream. The ladybug was chocolate cake. Little fondant flowers line the borders of the cake.

Made this for a friend. 9 x13 sheet of chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream. The popcorn was made from mini marshmallows that I cut in an x pattern and then painted with gold luster dust. Fondant strips and fondant movie sign.

Barney theme for a 3 year old. All buttercream icing with colorful shapes. The characters were made on cardstock and then I laminated them. Triple chocolate cake with peanut butter cream cheese filling. This was absolutely delicious.

Sesame street gift package for a little boy. Nothing fancy just made the character faces out of fondant and added a silk ribbon. The best part of this cake was the vanilla cake with strawberry filling.

3rd wedding cake for the summer. This may not look that big, but it was. 3 layers of vanilla poundcake get extremely heavy. 16" bottom, 12" middle, 8" top. Iced in vanilla buttercream with purple fondant daisies. Each tier trimmed with silver ribbon. The color scheme for the wedding was silver, purple, and black.

#1 Racecar birthday. This little boy was born on one of Nascar's race weekends so the mom came up with the idea to do racecars. The cake was vanilla with buttercream. It has a fondant track and I made the cars from fondant. The flags I printed and added to candy sticks. The cupcakes were half chocolate and half vanilla. The stars and #1's were fondant. Iced in buttercream. Really liked this one when I finished.

Don't let this one fool you. This is actually a cookie cake. The bottom is double chocolate chip and the surfboard is sugar cookie. Vanilla buttercream covers the cookie. The characters on top I did cheat a little. I printed them out on cardstock and attached to candy sticks. Still think it turned out cute.

First communion for 2 little children. Just a simple 12 x 18 sheet, one layer of chocolate, one layer of vanilla. The open book on the top was a Bible with the families favorite verse. I painted the edges with gold dust to make it more resemble the Bible.

The second version of a disney princess castle. This little girl wanted all pink with lots of flowers. The family didn't need a very big cake so I did and 8" strawberry with vanilla buttercream and the12" on the bottom is a dummy cake. It turned out great and I even got a thank you picture drawn by the birthday girl that is still on my refrigerator.

Luau themed first birthday. 8" and 6" vanilla and chocolate rounds. The colors matched the napkins that had flowers on them. The palm trees were chocolate and the big palm, with number one on the top were fondant. It was really hot on this particular day and the palm trees kept wanting to melt.

My version of a Disney Princess castle. The little girl was so excited when she saw this. It made my heart melt. 8" and 6" square marble cake with vanilla buttercream. The figureines I found at the store and they worked out great. And the little girl was able to play with them after.

The groom's cake for the all white wedding cake. Both bride and groom were huge GA fans. GO DAWGS!!! So he wanted something GA and I came up with the idea for the football field. He loved spice cake. So this one is spice with cream cheese icing. I'm not that big of fan of spice cake, but this one was delicious. I think its just something different from the normal vanilla and chocolate. My niece was in town and she helped me with all the fondant letters for this one and the goal posts. She also helped with the wedding cake as well. 11x 15 sheet

This cake took on a transformation after I got to the reception. The bride originally wanted an all white cake with a simple pattern on each tier. I liked it and it was pretty, but felt like it just needed something else. So took it upon myself to ask the wedding planner to get me some flowers. Once we added the fresh white hydrangeas, baby's breath and greenery it just really came together. The pictures don't do the cake justice, that's just my bad photography and being in a hurry. That's why I bake and don't take pictures. But the bride and groom loved it even with the flowers.
4 tier vanilla poundcake with strawberry cream cheese filling. This cake was heavy but yummy. The cool part is that the reception was the same place I got married 10 years ago. It brought back so many memories.

The groom's cake to go with the red scroll cake. Groom was a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan and also loved Xbox so we combined both ideas and did the controller. I was super excited about how this turned out. It was great surprising the groom. 12x18 vanilla sheet cakes cut in the shape of the controller. Fondant accents.

My second wedding cake. 4 tier alternating strawberry and vanilla. 12", 10", 8", 6" rounds with red scroll pattern all over. The bride had brought me a picture of a cake very similar. I hope Idid the first cake justice. The flowers on the top were fresh that I added at the reception site. Was a little nervous about the delivery but everything went fine. The bride and groom said it was great and I heard there was nothing left. I guess thats a good thing!!! Was glad to be a part of someone's special day.

A Sweet 16 for a very special sweet girl. Its a two tier 6" and 10" square. One was vanilla, the other was chocolate. The daisies were fondant. The number 16 was white chocolate with red coloring and the bows were just some ribbon I had. She loved it and that is all that matters.

1st birthday with the ladybug theme. 2 tier chocolate and vanilla cake with a vanilla smash cake. The ladybugs are rice krispies. All the circles and ladybugs are fondant.

The famous Toy Story bed. The bed is chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream covered with a fondant quilt. The cake board is covered in fondant and rolled with a wood grain pattern to look like the floor. The headboard and footboard are fondant/gumpaste. Very pleased with how this turned out. The mom had found all of the characters and they were the perfect size for this cake. Just too cute!

Well kindergarten is over and to celebrate I made them this cake. The kids in my sons class were very excited on the last day of school to get cake. Vanilla with vanilla buttercream. 9x13

One of my biggest feats to date. Yes this is all cake. It took several 12x18 sheet cakes, and a few 9x13 to make this one. It consisted of vanilla poundcake, french vanilla, and chocolate cake. All iced in vanilla buttercream. All of the windows, lifeboats, deck, and other trim were made from fondant. The control towers were rice krispie treats. The line across the top was dental floss. The pool was blue piping gel. I made the ship to look like the same one the retiree would be traveling on. It was very big and heavy. The picture just doesn't show that. Probably one of my favorite cakes to date.

A little boys first birthday with the Mod Monkey theme. Vanilla and Chocolate marble with vanilla buttercream. Carved #1 for the smash cake.

For my cousin's graduation from High School. They were the Hurricanes. So I thought about the Hurricane warning flags. This is just another simple 9x13.
Same family also celebrating Mother's day. They wanted bright colors and lots of flowers. So I lined the whole 9x13 vanilla poundcake with buttercream roses.
This cake if for multiple birthdays. The family wanted to celebrate them all with one cake. So very similar to another butterfly cake I've done, but it was easy to make and turned out cute. 9x13 vanilla poundcake with vanilla buttercream
Hannah Montana guitar. The bottom is an 11 x15 vanilla sheet with a chocolate guitar on top. All of the parts of the guitar were made from fondant and then painted.

For my youngest son's 3rd birthday. He wanted Diego and I came up with doing the Rescue Center. So the house is vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream. The bottom is a 8" square chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream. The tree is dowel that I covered with brown fondant and added the vines. Characters were some we already had around the house. I made the rope ladder from a piece of string and fondant for the wood pieces. He loved it and I had so much fun making it for him.
