Another wedding cake to add to the mix. This one went great and it was for such a sweet couple. All lemon poundcake with the bottom tier and top tier in lemon cream filling. The middle tier was rasberry cream cheese filling. Swiss dots on the top and bottom with the diamond pattern in the middle. Fondant ribbon around the bottom of each tier. I lucked out and found flowers to go on the sides of the cake that matched exactly to the topper they had made. The wedding site for this cake was gorgeous and I was very thankful for the opportunity of one of my cakes to be there.

My second Grave Digger. I tried to make this one a little different than the first. I wish it was a little smaller but then it is harder to get all the details on there. The truck is made from rice krispie treats shaped and carved into the size I needed. All decorations are either fondant or icing. The wheels are also RKT. The base cake is a french vanilla with chocolate buttercream. Graham cracker crumbs make the dirt look.

My second Sweet 16 for a very sweet family. This one is triple chocolate with cream cheese icing. It's an 8" and 6" round.

A very special cake for me. This was for my in-laws as they celebrated 50 years of marriage. They never had a formal wedding so this was their first wedding cake. It means the world to me to have such an example of what a marriage should be. I was honored to do this. Lemon Poundcake on the bottom, vanilla in the middle and triple chocolate for the bride and groom on the top. Fondant roses handpainted gold.

9 x 13 Strawberry and French Vanilla swirl for a Strawberry Shortcake theme. This little girl also picked out her design and this is what she wanted. Buttercream grass and pond. Fondant house and walkway. Fondant strawberries and flowers.

This was a "grand vision" of a very sweet and incredibly artistic girl. She was very specific in what she wanted. The cake need to have the following: waterfall, hula girl with brown hair, lots of flowers, wooden sign, grass, sand, sea shells, and palm trees. I think I covered everything she wanted. Chocolate chip 2 tier 8" and 6" round. Fondant decorations except for shells those were chocolate. Hula girl I found at a local store. The girl loved it! And that is what matters to me.

9 x 13 sheet with vanilla cake and vanilla buttercream. This is for a July birthday at a park. Fireworks and stars were piped on. The name and birthday letters are fondant. Stars on the wires are fondant. Pretty simple, but so cute!

Lightning McQueen in the desert. Vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream. Fondant cactus, rocks, and sign. The yellow ribbon is for a special friend who is serving in the military who the little boy was named after. The car is rice krispie treats carved to look like the car. Covered in fondant details and the writing was piped on. Loved how this one turned out as well.

Spongebob Squarepants. Chocolate cake carved from a 9 x 13 sheet to fit the shape of Spongebob. Small cake is for the birthday boy. Chocolate buttercream under the fondant. All fondant decorations including Patrick and Gary. Love, love, love how this turned out!

Well this was a first for me. I used donut holes (munchkins) to create a croquembouche. It took nearly 200 donuts to make this tower and I filled in with some fondant flowers that were pink. The smash cake was a small 2 tier 5" and 3" rounds. Vanilla cake and vanilla buttercream.

Very similar to another butterfly cake I did. However this is exactly what the little girl wanted. Flowers are fondant and the butterflies are from a local store. 9 x 13 sheet

Tinker Bell for a sweet little girl in my son's class. The bottom cake was chocolate chip with vanilla buttercream and fondant flowers. The dress was chocolate cake covered in fondant. The designs were royal icing. Very simple but cute!!!

My first attempt at making sugar cookies with royal icing. I have to say I am so excited how these turned out. There were 46 total. All different colors.

Made for a high tea baby shower! Vanilla Poundcake with strawberry cream cheese filling. Buttercream layer underneath the all fondant packages. Everything brushed with a super pearl glaze and the the bows were made from fondant/gumpaste.

Put this one together last minute for a bridal shower. Nothing fancy just made to match the napkins and plates. 3 layer french vanilla with strawberry cream cheese filling. Yummy!!!

A movie themed bithday with a different spin on the popcorn bucket. I wanted it to look like the bag and after a bad weekend of rain, that wasn't a problem. The cake started settling so it became lumpy. Guess it was just meant to be. Popcorn made from marshmallows. Fondant stripes, stars and movie reel. But I hear the little girls loved it and that is all that counts!!

Baby Shower cake with an ice cream parlor theme. The cake design matches the invitation. French vanilla cake with buttercream. Fondant stripes. Gumpaste signs. Sugar cone filled with icing to look like an ice cream cone. Had a lot of fun with this one.

French Vanilla cake in 10" and 6" rounds. Vanilla buttercream and fondant accents to match the shower invite. The letters on the top were the same as on the invite.

Another Thomas cake to add to the mix. This one is for a little girl. So to make it a little more girly the flowers were added. The number 2 was cut from a 11x 15 vanilla sheet. 2 layers covered in buttercream with fondant bricks on the side. The Sir Topham hat took 2 hours to make, but I am so excited how he turned out. Enjoy!!!
