Secret Hideout cake for a super secret spy themed birthday.  The little boy wanted a spy hideout and that is what I made.  The cake is vanilla and chocolate with vanilla buttercream.  10" and 6"  rounds. All the pieces are made from fondant including the walkway. The spy folder I printed and put on candy sticks.

First birthday of Dr. Seuss, Oh the places you will go.  Tried to match it to the book the best I could.  The cake is vanilla carved into a one.  The smash cake is vanilla with green grass and fondant flowers.

End of the Year Luau for my son's last day of 2nd grade.  The cake is vanilla and chocolate chip.  Vanilla buttercream with crushed graham crackers.  The tiki face is made from rice krispie treats.  Flowers and other decorations made from fondant.

A retirement cake for one of the janitors at my son's school.  She was going on a cruise, hence the cruise ship on top.  But we wanted to tie together her job at the school.  So this is what we came up with.  Mop, broom, mop bucket, vacuum cleaner, trash can, and ocean themed fondant pieces.  Vanilla cake and chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream.  The sand is crushed graham crackers.
Another remake but this time for my youngest son.  He loves Phineas and Ferb so he really wanted a cookie cake with them on the surf board.  This was made just for him.  The surf board is rice krispie treats molded into shape with buttercream icing and fondant stripes.

Baby shower cake to welcome a sweet baby girl!  The invitations had little outfits on it so I did the dresses to match the invitation.  The colors were to match too.  8" and 6" round vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream.
For a very special birthday girl for Sweet 16.  We mixed and matched a few ideas from other cakes to make this one. It's vanilla buttercream and vanilla and chocolate cake.  10" square and 6" square.

Crossover cake for the Cub Scouts.  The chocolate cake is the cub scout part and the vanilla cake is the Boy Scout part. We made the wooden bridge between them from wooden craft supplies and burlap twine.  The Arrow of Light and the Boy Scout Emblem are made from fondant.  Really like how this one turned out.

Lightning McQueen and Mater Cake for a little girl.  We added the die cast characters to the roadway after delivery. The dirt is made from crushed graham crackers. The cake is vanilla with vanilla buttercream.  All pieces made from fondant.

Baby Shower cake with a Just in Time theme!  10" and 6" round.  Fondant accents.

Had so much fun making the pieces for this cake. It turned out really cute. The pigs, and chickens are made from fondant. The haystacks are cupcakes. I'm sad to say the tractor I bought, but hey there's only so much time in a day. The cake is vanilla.

Simple Minnie Mouse sheet cake. It also had 32 cupcakes to match in pink and white icing with sprinkles. The minnie mouse heads and bows are fondant. The cake is vanilla with vanilla buttercream.

Loved how this one turned out. The colors were awesome! I will admit the fondant strips on the bottom layer were a bit challenging, but I persevered and got it done. The number 4 was for the top. Just didn't think it would travel well.

The other favorite of the monster trucks, Maximum Destruction. This was just the side view cut out of fondant then I piped all the details on with buttercream. The tires were fondant that I shaped. Honestly, this turned out better than I thought it would. His pattern is a hard one to duplicate.

My first Purplicious cake. The little flowers on the side were so cute and the top had a paintbrush with artist pallette. The paint tube on the side was fondant. The butterflies were some I had found at the local hobby shop. Chocolate chip cake with buttercream icing.

So this one was for 2 little boys whose birthday is one year apart. Each wanted their own cake with certain characters. The first was Iron Man and Batman. The other was Superman and Spiderman. These turned out really cute. One cake was Peanut Butter Poundcake with peanut butter filling. The other was Triple Chocolate with cream cheese.

Lego Racecar cake. Just 2 8" rounds put together to make the figure 8 racetrack. All legos were made from fondant. The name and track are fondant as well. The customer added some racecars and people to the top for the party.

Another wedding cake to add to the mix. This one went great and it was for such a sweet couple. All lemon poundcake with the bottom tier and top tier in lemon cream filling. The middle tier was rasberry cream cheese filling. Swiss dots on the top and bottom with the diamond pattern in the middle. Fondant ribbon around the bottom of each tier. I lucked out and found flowers to go on the sides of the cake that matched exactly to the topper they had made. The wedding site for this cake was gorgeous and I was very thankful for the opportunity of one of my cakes to be there.
