Simple sheet cake. 9x13 poundcake with vanilla buttercream. Quick fondant flowers.

For all you hunters out there, here's the best I could do. 9x13 sheet cake, vanilla with chocolate buttercream. The deer is rice krispie treats. Everything covered in fondant. The antlers I made from wire and covered in gumpaste. The leaves and acorns are fondant. I enjoyed working on this one.

A christmas eve I-phone cake. I did this for a friend who was going to surprise her boyfriend. 9x13 sheet cake with chocolate buttercream and fondant overlay on top. All of the buttons were handmade from fondant then I drew on them with thinned buttercream. The party was on Saturday the 26th at 6:00 hence all the buttons and clocks stating this. I hope I did this one good enough. Heard the birthday boy liked it so thats a good sign.

Another cake for my son's class. We didn't need a lot of cake so the bottom 12" is a dummy cake. The 8" was vanilla with chocolate buttercream. The snowman was fondant and the trees were ice cream cones with royal icing. The castle pillars were the castle kit. The turrets were rolled in colored sugar. M&Ms, Dots, and other colored candies were used to decorate the castle. The class was so excited when I walked in. Had to make some repairs when I got to school, it was pouring rain and I had to run across the parking lot so some of the turrets and pillars fell over. Hence all the candy on the baseboard. But would do it all over again.

This one really had the detail on it. There is fondant grass all across the layers. It took 3 hrs just for that part. The bees, snails, caterpillars and the Bee itselft are all fondant and gumpaste mix. The cakes were chocolate and vanilla with buttercream. The bee hive I carved out of a dome pan. The Bee Movie was this little boys favorite, so I hope he liked it. The big bee also took several hours to make. His shape needed to be just right. Still all in all had fun making all the pieces for this one.

What a special cake! This was for the celebration of an adoption day( also known as gotcha day). This was a chocolate chop cookie cake in the shape of interlocking hearts. The small heart on the top is a sugar cookie cake. Everything covered in vanilla buttercream. Felt very honored to have been asked to do this one. It touched my heart.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse come inside its fun inside!!!! 3 tiers Devils food and vanilla cakes. Covered in vanilla buttercream. All fondant/gumpaste accents. The Clubhouse was made from styrofoam balls that I covered in fondant. Making the mickey mouse head was harder than I expected, but the birthday boy loved it nonetheless. That is all that matters.

I was very pleased with how this one turned out. Chocolate cake with cream cheese icing. Yummmmmm! Grass was buttercream. Flowers I found at the cake supply store. Had 3 cakes this week and wasn't sure I would have enough time to do the flowers. Butterflies were from Hobby Lobby. It turned out better than I expected.

For a very special 1st birthday. The crown cake matches the decorations. It was chocolate with vanilla buttercream. The smash cake was vanilla with vanilla buttercream. I thought the flowers and banner with all the pink made it very girly. So cute!!!

My first ever Barbie cake!!! I just love getting to do new things. Made her dress using a Pampered Chef bowl. It was chocolate chip poundcake. Covered in buttercream then covered in fondant. Made small flowers and put on dress as well. Was pretty pleased with how this one turned out, especially for my first one!

Wanted to do a Haunted House for Halloween, but ended up doing something non scary for my son's class. The house is made from rice krispies covered in fondant with a brick imprint. The cake is vanilla poundcake. Pathway, pumpkins and ghost are fondant. The fence around the front I found at a craft store. I really enjoyed seeing the kids faces when I walked in. It makes it all worth it.
